Healthcare Blogging Summit This December

The Medical Blog Network is debuting the Healthcare Blogging Summit this year. The conference is billed as the first conference on healthcare blogging. It will take place on December 11th in Washington, DC. The conference will cover issues related to healthcare blogging including healthcare blogging strategies and tactics.
Steve Rubel, who will be giving a keynote about the blogging revolution at the conference, is pointing health bloggers to a survey that is looking to aggregate data about health bloggers.
Health bloggers provide a very useful service because they may discuss a lot of drugs and studies that don't get much coverage in the mainstream media. They can also provide personal insight into illnesses when people are sometimes looking for more information than what is found in a typical medical encyclopedia or guide.
