Hearts magazines has launched Town & Country UK magazine. A U.S. version of the magazine has been published since 1846. Actress Lily James covers the launch issue of the publication, which is the June 2014 issue. Hearst Magazines UK says Town & Country will cover elegant parties, fashion, beauty, food, wine, art, philanthropy, travel and interesting people.

The magazine is being produced by the team behind the UK version of Harper's Bazaar. Justine Picardie is the editor-in-chief. Meribeth Parker is the group publishing director.

Picardie says in a statement, "Like Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country has been an ever-evolving arbiter of style and taste for generations. British Town & Country will have a unique voice that is celebratory yet also original and authoritative. It will offer its readers an intelligent interpretation of the meaning and manners of modern society, with sophisticated design, brilliant writing, literary panache and memorable photography."
