Hearst Magazines to Relaunch Elle Accessories Magazine

Posted on June 19, 2012

The New York Times reports that Hearst Magazine plans to relaunch Elle Accessories. The publication was discontinued in 2008 by Hachette Filipacchi Media. Hearst bought it from Hachette last year and plans to relaunch it in the U.S. this Fall.

The Times says Hearst plans to print 500,000 copies of the relaunch issue. There will also have a digital edition for e-readers. Ads in Elle Accessories will cost about 1/5 as much as they do in Elle. Neiman Marcus will be both an advertiser and a collaborator of Elle Accessories, with plans to distribute the magazine to Neiman Marcus customers.
