Hillary Clinton Named Winner of the Iowa Democratic Caucuses

Hillary Clinton won the 2016 Iowa Democratic caucuses. The narrow victory over Bernie Sanders makes her the first woman in history to win the Iowa caucuses. The win has been called both by the state party and the AP.

Hillary told her supporters in a speech, "I can tell you I've won and I've lost there. It's a lot better to win."

Hillary also shared a thank you to her supporters on Twitter.

A New York Times piece by Nate Cohn argues that the close Iowa results benefit Clinton more than Sanders. Hillary had luck on her side in Iowa. She reportedly won 6 Iowa precincts with coin tosses. Take a look:
