Hollywood.com, Inc. has announced that it has launched Broadway.com, featuring coverage of live theater worldwide. Broadway.com will promote live theater at all levels -- from Broadway to Off-Broadway to regional and local productions -- and will feature theater listings and showtimes for over 1,900 separate venues, online theater ticketing, news and reviews.

In addition to showtimes and theater listings, the site features online theater ticketing as well as information on live theater in the top 100 U.S. markets and London's West End. Content includes show synopses, directions to theaters, information on nearby attractions, and accessibility. The site also features interviews with stage actors and playwrights, box office results, show tunes, cast and crew credits, daily news stories and biographies. Additionally, the site will feature insider views and news from industry expert, Ken Mandelbaum, as well as theater updates and star interviews from Broadway.com and Hollywood.com reporter Sandy Kenyon.

``The goal of Broadway.com is to reach everyone who enjoys theater, and provide them with the tools they need to make theater accessible to them,'' said Laurie Silvers, President of Hollywood.com, Inc., the parent company of Broadway.com. ``Not only can theatergoers locate which productions are currently performing, they can access insider reviews, download performance clips, and even interact with Broadway celebrities.''

``Broadway.com has the resources and support to be the most comprehensive destination on the Internet for live theater. With its extensive database of theater-related events and deep content on the site, Broadway.com offers a one-stop experience for new users, as well as those who are already dedicated to the theater world,'' said Mitchell Rubenstein, Chairman and CEO of Hollywood.com.

Broadway.com's cast is lead by New York based Editorial Director Paul Wontorek, former Editor-in-Chief of Upstage, a theatrical magazine, and Boca Raton, FL based VP-Operations, Mary Hall, and Executive Producer Michael Payne, former Manager of Web Operations for Digital Media Worldwide. The site's cast also includes News Editor Beth Stevens, Lead Designer David Keith, Lead Programmer Laszlo Patassy, HTML Developer Everton Cunningham and Designers Freddy Pulido and Erik Thompson. Broadway.com's online ticketing service is managed by Matthew Kupchin, the founder of BroadwayTheater.com, and hosted by Edward, Broadway.com's online animated ticket concierge.
