IDG and Reed Business Information Form Alliance

International Data Group (IDG) announced it is forming an alliance with publishing giant Reed Business Information as marketing partner for Reed's Computer Weekly and Corporate Networks titles.

Kelly Conlin, president of IDG, comments: "This alliance is consistent with IDG's strategy of offering advertisers the only global network of market- leading IT publications." He added, "Strategically, Reed shares IDG's philosophy of delivering the highest quality publications to its readers. As the leading IT publication in the UK, Computer Weekly helps IDG extend its global mission in this growing region - it is a logical extension for IDG's unparalleled global marketing programs."

Reed Business Information will also work closely with IDG UK to put together local products and develop European offerings. Reed will gain access to U.S. customers looking to market internationally, as well as international companies based in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Canada and Asia Pacific.
