Posted on September 27, 2000

Publish Media, LLC has announced a brand new layout, mission and editorial focus for Publish magazine. With its October 2000 issue, Publish debuts the tagline, ``Internet Communication for the New Economy,'' reflecting its commitment to serve a growing niche of industry influencers it describes as ``Internet Communication Strategists.''

Publish defines Internet Communication Strategists as enterprise-level professionals who must manage marketing objectives, content issues, creative considerations, technological limitations and customer expectations to implement effective Internet communication strategies for their companies. With a circulation of 100,000, Publish is a monthly magazine published 12 times a year.

``The evolution of our magazine was driven by the realization that our readers are more technically savvy and strategically empowered than they were just one year ago. These communication professionals, or Internet Communication Strategists, are now holding the purse strings at Fortune 500 companies, e-business consulting firms and interactive advertising agencies, and are making key purchase decisions about services and technology driving companies' e-commerce objectives,'' said Barry Harrigan, president and founding editor, Publish.
