Imagine Media Announces Rob Smith as New PC Gamer Editor-in-Chief

Imagine Media, Inc. has announced the promotion of Rob Smith to Editor-in-Chief of PC Gamer magazine. ``I am truly elated to take the helm of the PC flagship publication for Imagine Media,'' says Rob Smith. ``I look forward to working with all the talented editors, designers, and industry experts who have made PC Gamer the best in its field.''

Until recently, Rob was the Executive Editor of Imagine Media's PC Accelerator magazine. ``Rob's work on PC Accelerator has been nothing short of ground-breaking,'' notes Matt Firme, Vice President/Editorial Director of Imagine Media's Entertainment Division. ``His innovative magazine sense and respect in the industry made Rob the very best choice to head PC Gamer.''

Former PC Gamer Editor-in-Chief Gary Whitta will be launching a new Imagine Media publication, Total Movie, which is scheduled for a Summer 2000 launch.
