Infotrieve Acquires PubList.com

Infotrieve, a Web research portal, has acquired PubList, a provider of a Web-based directory of more than 150,000 publications, Infotrieve CEO Joseph Bashoura announced. PubList.com will continue its current independent operations as a subsidiary of Infotrieve. PubList.com provides access to information about more than 150,000 domestic and international print and electronic publications including magazines, journals, e-journals, newsletters, and monographs.

``Acquiring PubList.com is an important step for us,'' Infotrieve's Bashoura said. ``It will direct new traffic to our Web site, strengthening our position as the world's premier independent document delivery service. We're delighted that PubList.com has decided to join with us.''

Bashoura also said that PubList.com will continue to operate under its own banner, including its website. ``We can assure all of PubList.com's users around the world that it is business as usual,'' he said. ``There will be no disruption to PubList.com services and operations.''
