Posted on July 21, 1999
Penton Media's Internet World magazine has unveiled three major enhancements to its product mix today, including a change from a tabloid format to a standard magazine format, an increase in circulation from 125,000 to 150,000 and the launch of Internet World News. With the format change, Internet World is migrating its news coverage into Internet World News, a daily e-newsletter delivering information on the Internet industry.
Internet World Publishing Director, Tom Kuczynski said, "As the Web grows in its strategic value to organizations of all sizes and shapes, the need for in-depth information on complex Internet-related issues grows. Our focus in print is to deliver decision-support information to executives and managers who are charged with driving their companies' e-business initiatives. Our online product is designed to deliver important news while it's still news and not a week later. And, our circulation increase reflects our commitment to growing with the Internet industry. Internet World magazine is really about the intersection of business and Internet technology."
