iPublish.com Unveils First List of eBook Titles

iPublish.com, the electronic publishing division recently launched by Time Warner Trade Publishing, has unveiled its first list of monthly releases. iPublish.com, which will launch as an online publishing website in the first quarter of next year, will begin distribution of its electronic books this September. Random House also recently a new ebook imprint, which will be called AtRandom. AtRandom's books will be available in January 2001, both as ebooks and print-on-demand trade paperbacks.
Set to make its debut on virtual bookshelves this September, the iPublish.com list showcases new works by some of Time Warner’s top authors, including Nelson DeMille, David Baldacci, Sandra Brown, Nicholas Sparks and David Foster Wallace. The list will also include Passport to Profits: a business book by finance guru Mark Mobius with Stephen Fenichell, the first in a monthly series of business titles that are condensed and reformatted for electronic reading.

"I think it offers a taste of the exciting eBooks we’ll have in coming months-- such as new works by bestselling brand name authors, original works by some of our most celebrated authors, and exclusive content that maximizes the advantages of digital reading".
Titles on the September List include:
- Sandra Brown: new release The Switch and eBook version of The Alibi.
- Nicholas Sparks: new release The Rescue and his full backlist: A Walk to Remember, Message in a Bottle and The Notebook.
- David Baldacci: Saving Faith and an eBook exclusive, Origins of Wish You Well an original essay by Baldacci. Coming in October, new release Wish You Well.
- Nelson Demille: The Lion's Game -- eBook available at paperback price two months prior to paperback release.
- David Foster Wallace: an eBook original on John McCain, Up Simba! 7 Days on the Trail of an Anticandidate
- James Gleick: Faster, the first ebook from the popular science author.
- Mark Mobius, a renowned finance guru: Passports to Profit, the first of a series of monthly business titles perfect for desktop and handheld reading.
