J.K. Rowling Remembers the Battle of Hogwarts

Posted on May 2, 2014

It's the 16th anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, which marked the end of the Second Wizarding War. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is feeling a little nostalgic. She tweeted, "It's the 16th anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts. I'm having a moment's silence over my keyboard. I hated killing some of those people." Everyone gives George R.R. Martin a lot of grief for all the people he kills off, but really, Jo Rowling killed off a lot of characters in her series now that we think about it. We miss Severus Snape the most.
