Jamie McGuire Signs Book Deal With Atria Books

Atria Books has announced a book deal with New York Times bestselling author Jamie McGuire. The book deal for three new novels and one novella was negotiated by Atria Vice President, Senior Editor Greer Hendricks with Jamie's literary agent, Amy Tannenbaum, at the Jane Rotrosen Agency.

The first book to be published, Red Hill, is a love story set against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse. It will be published October 1st.

McGuire's most recent novel, Walking Disaster, is a companion to McGuire's previous book Beautiful Disaster, which McGuire self-published in 2011 before rights were sold to Atria Books in 2012. Movie rights to Beautiful Disaster have been optioned by Warner Bros.

Jamie McGuire lives in Oklahoma with her children and her cowboy husband. They share their 10 acres with three dogs, five horses, and a cat named Rooster.
