Kid Rock Has Left the Building

Posted on January 13, 2005

Singer/songwriter/rapper Kid Rock will not be performing at any of President Bush's inaugural events, although he is a Bush supporter. The entertainer, who is perhaps best known for his liason with Pamela Anderson and wearing the U.S. flag as a poncho during his Superbowl performance, got himself uninvited when religious groups raised a ruckus at his inclusion.

Perhaps some of Kid Rock's lyrics might shed light on his exclusion from the festivities: "Pimp of the Nation, I could be it/ As a matter of a fact, I foresee it/ But only pimpin' hoes with the big tush/While you be left pimpin' Barbara Bush."

Tsk, tsk.... that's no way to wangle an invite to the top RNC parties.
