Lavox.com Launches Spanish Language Online Magazine

Lavox.com, an online magazine, dedicated to issues of particular concern and interest to Latin America, Spain and Spanish-speaking USA started publication on June 15th. Lavox.com will focus on politics, the state of the economy, art, sex, sports and humor.

Lavox.com will also have ``lavox populi'' -- a chatroom/forum for its readers to voice their opinions on the topics covered in lavox.com and to meet people with similar interests. Lavox populi will be an ``open forum'' -- a place where people can freely express their ideas and points of view.

Rosita Peru is the founder and President of lavox.com. Rosita Peru is recognized as a pioneer of U.S. Spanish-language television and the creator of groundbreaking shows for Hispanics in the United States. In 1981, Ms. Peru joined Univision (then SIN) and became the first woman Executive Vice President in the history of the network. Ms. Peru began her career as a producer and on-camera performer in Peru, Argentina and the United States. She studied art and literature at the Universidad de San Marcos in Lima, Peru.
