Macmillan's Criminal Element Site Seeks Original Crime and Mystery Short Stories

Posted on May 6, 2011

Macmillan recently launched Criminal Element, a community site featuring daily content for fans of the crime and mystery genres. Criminal Element says it is "publisher-neutral" in its selection of books, authors and materials for coverage and discussion.

The site's submissions page says it is looking for original short crime and mystery stories. They are particularly interested in stories between 6,000 and 15,000 words. Criminal Element says it pays "$1,000 against a 25% royalty."
