Meredith Announces Rate Base Increase for More Magazine

Meredith Corporation has announced it has increased the rate base of More magazine to 500,000, effective with the July/August issue, on sale today. More launched as a subscription-based bimonthly publication in September, 1998 with a declared rate base of 320,000. That number was raised to 400,000 in January 1999. More is the only subscription-based magazine targeted to women over 40. Myrna Blyth, Editor-in-Chief and Publishing Director of Ladies' Home Journal magazine, serves in the same capacity at More, as does Michael Brownstein, Publisher of Ladies' Home Journal. The magazines maintain separate editorial and sales staffs.
