Meredith Expands Content Alliance With AOL

Meredith Corporation, a home and family media company, announced a new, expanded agreement with America Online, Inc. Under the multi-year agreement, Meredith's cooking, home improvement, gardening, health, family finance, and lifestyle information will be available to online consumers through a series of anchor tenancies and other placements across AOL, CompuServe, Netscape.com and AOLTV.

Meredith will continue to be the premier provider of recipes to AOL's Recipe Finder and will provide access to more recipes In addition, the new agreement will enhance Meredith's initiative to generate more magazine subscriptions by featuring Better Homes and Gardens and other magazine titles across the Shop@AOL online shopping destinations.

We expect our new alliance will also increase traffic to Meredith websites, and help enable us to sell more Meredith magazine subscriptions and books online.''
