Meredith Will Launch More Magazine as a Bimonthly Publication

Posted on January 7, 1998

Meredith Corporation announced it will launch More magazine as a subscription-based bimonthly publication beginning in September, 1998. More premiered in April, 1997 as a newsstand-only magazine with a distribution of 400,000. A second test issue followed in October.

More is targeted to women over 40. Myrna Blyth, editor in chief and publishing director of Ladies Home Journal magazine, will continue to serve in the same capacity at More, as will Michael Brownstein, publisher of Ladies Home Journal. The new magazine will have, however, separate editorial and sales and marketing staffs.
