Posted on September 8, 1999

Mexico Online has just released the September issue of its popular @migo! Newsletter, while this month's website cover page highlights the Mexican Independence Day and how the struggle for independence got started, just in time for the holiday which takes place on Sept. 16.

Articles in this month's issue of @migo! include "The Three Men Of Oaxaca," by Marvin Perton, which looks at three pivotal characters in Mexico's history; the "Tales From Tampico" series, part 2 of Tampico John's adventures into this busy port city; "Business And Opportunity in Puebla," Bruce McGovern's ongoing observations of life in Mexico; and a photo shoot of "Chiapas Through The Lens," as noted photographer Craig "Cisco" Dietz provides a visual tour of the Chiapas countryside.

The entire Mexico Online website has also undergone a major visual upgrade, featuring a crisper look and simplified layout. Web surfers to the home page will also find a regularly updated summary of recent news items, providing them with a quick overview of important events in Mexico. Founded in 1993 in San Diego, Mexico Online is the longest running online service specialized on Mexico. Its portal website receives nearly 1 million page views per month, and provides Web visitors with content on topics such as business, culture, geography, history, real estate and travel.
