Stephenie Meyer and Andrew Niccol Talk The Host Movie

Bestselling author Stephenie Meyer and director Andrew Niccol talk about the film version of Meyer's bestselling sf novel, The Host. The Twilight author says it's an unusual story because the human race has been taken over by aliens, but the aliens may turn out to be the good guys (well, except for the fact that they've taken away our free will of course).
Stephenie said she wrote the book when she was doing copyedits for one of the Twilight books and she was really bored. She said editing is boring and she needed a creative outlet. So she wrote The Host. She also says she thinks actress Saoirse Ronan does a fantastic job: she has to play two characters with two different accents; Saoirse is Irish. Take a look:
