Michael di Capua Moves Imprint to Hyperion Books for Children

Michael di Capua, Publisher of Michael di Capua Books, will bring his imprint to Hyperion Books for Children, it was announced by Lisa Holton etc. Hyperion Books for Children is an imprint of the Disney Children's Book Group, the juvenile book publishing subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.

"We are delighted to welcome Michael di Capua and his imprint to our publishing family," said Holton. "Michael is an extraordinary talent; his taste and passion are a perfect complement to Hyperion Books for Children and Jump at the Sun."

Michael di Capua has been editing and art directing children's books since 1962. The authors and illustrators he has worked with include Jon Agee, Natalie Babbitt, Alexandra Day, Richard Egielski, Jules Feiffer, M. B. Goffstein, Randall Jarrell, Fred Marcellino, James Marshall, Jim McMullan, Kate McMullan, Tor Seidler, Uri Shulevitz, Maurice Sendak, Jeanne Steig, William Steig, Arthur Yorinks, Kaethe Zemach, and Margot Zemach. His books have won three Caldecott Medals and four National Book Awards.
