Michael Z. Hobson Joins Cracked as Senior Advisor

Posted on July 14, 2005

Cracked Entertainment, Inc. announced that Michael Z. Hobson, the former publisher of both Marvel Comics and Scholastic, has joined the company as a senior advisor. He will work directly with Cracked's CEO and Publisher Monty Sarhan.

Hobson's hire follows Cracked being acquired in April 2015 by a group of investors.

The company's redesign of the 47-year-old Cracked Magazine is already underway, with a new website slated to come online sometime in the fall and the magazine making a return to newsstands in early 2006.

Update: The Cracked magazine has been relaunched as a general humor magazine for 18- to 34-year-olds. Monty Sarhan is the CEO of the revamped company and Editor-in-Chief of the publication.
