Michele Bachmann Lands Book Deal, Bio Will Hit Stores in November

Posted on September 4, 2011

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has landed a book deal with Penguin Group's conservative imprint, Sentinel. In a press released, Sentinel says the book is already written, and will be released on November 21, 2011. Bachmann is currently running for the Republican presidential nomination.

Publisher Adrian Zackheim made the deal. He says that the book will include "previously untold stories about her life outside of politics." She will not receive an advance, as is required under congressional ethics rules.

Bachmann said in the release that, "People are the most important ingredient in life. I love people, and I care deeply that our nation's economy turns around so they can realize their American dream. This book will help to share my enthusiasm for an energized, pro-growth economy, and the life experiences that inform my optimism for the American people and for American greatness."

The book does not have a title yet, but is available for pre-order at Amazon.com.
