Microsoft Launches Sidewalk Guides in Denver and Houston

Posted on October 17, 1997

Microsoft has launched new Sidewalk Guides in the cities of Denver and Houston. The guides are resources for information about the cities, as well as where to find entertainment, restaurants and places to shop.

"Sidewalk fits your busy lifestyle by helping you make better decisions about what to do in your free time," said John Wilburn, executive producer of Sidewalk. "Our team of editors is tracking down hundreds of events every day in and around Houston. The site lets you customize the information so it's easy to find the things you are interested in."

Other Sidewalk city guides scheduled to launch this year include Washington, D.C., San Diego and Sydney, Australia. Guides to Seattle, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Houston and the Twin Cities are already available.
