Posted on July 13, 2012

During the D.C. Comics/Vertigo panel at Comic-Con, Neil Gaiman appeared via video to share some exciting news. He will write a new Sandman series for Vertigo that will be released in 2013 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the beginning of the bestselling Sandman series. Neil says the new story will reveal what Morpheus had been doing before Sandman #1 began. The story does not have a title or at least there is no official title yet, and Neil's not sharing it. He says the art will be drawn by J.H. Williams (Batwoman). He said you will see "Morpheus in a way you've never seen him before." Neil said he has one more big story to tell in this series and this is it. Take a look:
