New York Magazine's Weak Linkology Article

Posted on March 9, 2006

New York Magazine has a feature called Linkology: How the Most-Linked Blogs Related. Unfortunately, the feature really isn't very useful. If you look closely at the PDF file some of the blogs mentioned, Dooce, Kottke and Joystiq, don't even have links coming from them. Compareblogs.com, which compares blogs based on their Bloglines subscribers, is a much more useful tool for comparings blogs than whatever New York Magazine is trying to do with its Linkology feature. For example, this link on Compareblogs.com shows what other blogs Engadget Bloglines subscribers are reading.
