No Twitter in Zac Efron's Future

Posted on April 6, 2009

Actor and singer Zac Efron may be the future according to Interview magazine but so far he isn't embracing social media. Zac Efron told People that he doesn't actually want people to know what he is doing all the time.

Efron says, "I don't have a Twitter, a MySpace or a Facebook or anything like that. I kind of value in people not knowing where I am or what I'm doing."

There may not be much reason for Zac Efron to be on Twitter right now since pretty much every step he makes is already covered. Other stars using social media tools like Twitter, MySpace and Facebook like the ability to get out ahead of - or repudiate - what tabloids and blogs are reporting.

Update: Efron has embraced social media. He is now on Facebook, Twitter, @zacefron, and Instagram, @zacefron.
