NYT Bestselling Author Lauren Dane Inks Deal With Harlequin

Posted on February 24, 2016

New York Times bestselling romance author Lauren Dane just inked a multi-book deal with HQN Books and Carina Press, both owned by Harlequin. The author of more than 50 books, Ms. Dane writes paranormal romance, urban fantasy and contemporary romances. Her Cherchez Wolf Pack series is moving to Carina Press.

The first two books in that series, Wolf's Ascension and Sworn to the Wolf will be reissued by Carina Press, which is the digital first imprint of Harlequin. The books will be reissued in February and March of this year. The Cherchez Wolf pack series follows a pack of werewolves in Washington's North Cascades National Park.

Ms. Dane is contracted to write three books in a new contemporary romance series for HQN Books called the Whiskey Sharp series. Set in a Seattle barbership that used to be a distillery, the "wild" men that work there will be the focus of the series. Carina Press' Editorial Director Angela James will edit the titles in both imprints.

Dianne Moggy, Harlequin's Vice President of Romance Fiction, had this to day about the deal: "We're enormously pleased to continue our longtime relationship with Lauren Dane by contracting her again with Carina Press and HQN Books. Lauren's edgy, strong voice in both paranormal and contemporary romance is one that never fails to please readers, and these titles will deliver on that promise, as they continue her tradition of delivering fun, sexy stories!"
