Official Bookmark of the 10th Annual National Book Festival

Posted on September 10, 2010

This is the official bookmark of the 10th Annual National Book Festival. It was designed by Delaney Benich, a 6th grader from Indiana. Borders and the Library of Congress teamed up to encourage children across the country to design a bookmark that conveys their love of reading to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the National Book Festival. Borders awarded Delaney a $500 gift card and another one of equal value for her school library.

The adorable bookmark contains the word "Dream" with different book-related genre scenes in each letter. The bookmark also says, "I can dream anything while reading!"
