Oprah Winfrey Announces New Book Club Pick: The Twelve Tribes of Hattie by Ayana Mathis

Oprah Winfrey has announced the new book selection for her Book Club 2.0. The book is The Twelve Tribes of Hattie by Ayana Mathis (Knopf).

Oprah says of the book, "The opening pages of Ayana's debut took my breath away. I can't remember when I read anything that moved me in quite this way, besides the work of Toni Morrison." On February 3rd, Oprah will broadcast her interview with the author for her Super Soul Sunday, which is her counterprogramming to the Super Bowl. The interview will be streamed online and simulcast on Sirius XM radio, Oprah.com and OWN's Facebook page. Oprah will post weekly question and answer sessions on Twitter #OprahsBookClub).
