Orbit Starts Selling Short Stories in Ebook Form

Orbit, an imprint of the Hachette Book Group, has announced its digital short fiction program. The short stories are to be published in ebook form can be found on Orbit's site. Orbit publishes science fiction and fantasy.

Some of the first authors with Orbit short stories are Mira Grant, Jaye Wells, Jennifer Rardin and T.C. McCarthy. The ebooks range in price for $1.99 to $2.99.

Authors interested in publishing short stories with Orbit will first need a book contract with the publisher. In the FAQ, Orbit says "Orbit Short Fiction only accepts stories from authors whose novels we currently publish."
