O'Reilly and Clooney: Feel the Love

Posted on January 12, 2005

Fox personality and bestselling author Bill O'Reilly has buried the hatchet with George Clooney and agreed to appear on the Tsunami Aid: A Concert of Hope telethon, set to air Saturday on NBC and its cable networks. O'Reilly and Clooney have been at odds since O'Reilly alleged that 9/11 relief funds from a celebrity telethon were misused. He then publicly questioned whether the Tsunami telethon funds would go to the victims, which infuriated Clooney, who is closely involved with the event. "NBC has faxed us over information that all of the money that you donate to the telethon on Saturday night is going to the American Red Cross--all of it," O'Reilly said. "I like that. So, I'm gonna go over and do it." Now, that's bi-partisan.
