Simon & Schuster announced it will publish Pearl Jam Twenty on September 13, 2011. The illustrated self-portrait of the band will be published in celebration of Pearl Jam's twentieth anniversary and in conjunction with Cameron Crowe's documentary film and soundtrack of the same name.

The book contains behind-the-scenes anecdotes, rare archival memorabilia, and the band's personal photos, tour notes and drawings. The book was assembled by y veteran music writer Jonathan Cohen with Mark Wilkerson. It includes a foreword by Cameron Crowe.

The cover for the documentary film (below) is much more attractive and colorful than the book cover.
