Prada Launches Writing Contest

Posted on April 23, 2013

Prada has partnered with Italian publishing house Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Editore to launch a writing contest. Prada is using the contest, called Prada Journal, to promote its latest eyewear collection.

Prada is seeking essays of 4,000 to 8,000 words about the following topic: "What are the realities that our eyes give back to us? And how are these realities filtered through lenses?"

Contestants have to be 18 or older and may only enter once. The contest closes to entries on June 18. The winner or winners will be announced December 31, 2013. The winners will receive a cash prize of 5,000 Euros, about $6,528 U.S. The winner will also be published by Prada on its website and possibly distributed in Prada boutiques and by Feltrinelli. You can find the details about the contest here.
