President Obama made more from his first book, Dreams from My Father. It made $3.3 million, about $1 million more than The Audacity of Hope, which the Post says made $2.3 million.

The books also made $2.6 million in 2008.

The Post says about $1.6 million of the President's total book income came from people buying his books overseas. If you can climb to the pinnacle of politics like Barack Obama, then you too can become a bestseller. Obama also made $400,000 from his presidential salary.
