Publication Date of Mohamed ElBaradei's Book Advanced to April

Posted on February 4, 2011

With events unfolding rapidly in Egypt, book publisher Metropolitan Books, an imprint of Macmillan's Henry Holt & Co., is wisely moving up the publication date of Nobel Peace laureate Mohamed ElBaradei's book The Age of Deception: Nuclear Diplomacy in Treacherous Times. The Wall Street Journal reports:

The book is a first-person account of Mr. ElBaradei's work in international diplomacy as director general of the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency, covering negotiations with Iraq, Iran, North Korea and Libya, among others. It will be published April 26 rather than in June.

The book will be published on the same day in the U.S., Spain, England, Germany, Egypt and Holland. It is sure to hit bestseller lists immediately, as the world tries to learn more about the thinking of the man who could end up running the transitional government of Egypt or running for president.
