Randi Zuckerberg Inks Two Book Deal With HarperCollins

Randi Zuckerberg just inked a two book deal with HarperCollins. Randi is the CEO of Zuckerberg Media and was the Facebook Marketing Director for six years. One book is an adult nonfiction title called Dot Complicated. The other is a HarperCollins Children's picture book. Randi is the younger sister of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, but has forged her own identity in the digital world by helping pioneer social media's involvement in the presidential debates.

Dot Complicated is also the name of Randi's new lifestyle newsletter and blog. In the book will she will tell her life story and describe her time at Facebook and being a new mom. Randy is only 30 years old and says she "grew up with Facebook." The ebook will be packed with trendy interactive bells and whistles, including a place for "crowd sourced stories."

Randi explained her new project: "Technology has changed virtually every part of our lives, resulting in a modern, digital society that feels a lot like the wild, wild west. I am thrilled to be working with HarperCollins to share some of my own crazy experiences on the front lines of social media, and to inspire people of all ages to embrace technology, as well as the new set of social norms that come along with it." On her website, Randi says that that her new newsletter is about navigating the new world created by the digital revolution, including the many social and etiquette questions that pop up all the time.

No details about the children's picture book have been released yet.
