Rielle Hunter Writes Tell-All Book

Posted on June 1, 2012

Rielle Hunter, the woman who had a scandalous affair with John Edwards, has written a tell-all memoir. The book, What Really Happened: John Edwards, Our Daughter, and Me, arrives in stores on June 26.

Hunter was the videographer for John Edwards in 2006. She created videos of John Edwards that were used for the 2008 campaign. Edwards fathered a love child with Rielle, which led to charges he used campaign funds to cover up news about the baby. Edwards was recently found not guilty on one account and a mistrial was declared on the the other five counts.

Although many details of the scandalous affair are known, the publisher of the memoir, BenBella Books, tells People, that "no one has heard the truth of what really happened until now."

There are no details about how much Rielle Hunter was paid for this book.
