Rihanna's CFDA Gown Challenges News Outlets

Rihanna caused news outlets to run for the censor bars when she accepted a fashion icon award at the CFDA Awards wearing a dress that revealed pretty much everything. The gown was made of fishnet and embellished with Swarovski crystals.

She did wear a thong underneath, but that left her backside totally exposed. So how did mainstream news organizations cover the scandalous gown? Some went for black bars, some went for a red sash and some just tried to find a G-rated pose (there weren't any). CNN's Jeanne Moos takes a humorous look at Rihanna's challenge to media outlets.
