Broadside Books, an imprint of HarperCollins, announced that it will publish a new book by former Vice presidential candidate and bestselling author Sarah Palin. Governor Palin's book, Going Rogue, was a #1 bestselling author of Going Rogue, Sarah Palin.
The new book will be called A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas and it lays out her vision for winning the War on Christmas. According to a statement issued today, in the book Plain "defends one of the most sacred holidays of the Christian faith against the politically correct elite who have hijacked the season." She also "defines the case for holding traditional Christmas dear to our hearts and for bringing back the freedom to express the Christian values of the season."
The book will address the issue of preserving Jesus Christ in Christmas: in nativity scenes, school pageants and concerts. Palin will share personal memories and anecdotes from her own Christmases growing up and discuss her faith.
Palin said about the book, "Amidst the fragility of this politically correct era, it is imperative that we stand up for our beliefs before the element of faith in a glorious and traditional holiday like Christmas is marginalized and ignored. This will be a fun, festive, thought provoking book, which will encourage all to see what is possible when we unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas."
The book will hit shelves in November, 2013.
