Scholastic has released updated figures for Suzanne Collins's The Hunger Games trilogy. Scholastic says the trilogy has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list for over two hundred consecutive weeks (over three years). Scholastic says it has over 50 million copies of the books from the series in print and digital formats in the U.S.

Ellie Berger, President, Scholastic Trade Publishing, says, "Readers across the nation are captivated by the rich world and strong characters Suzanne Collins has created. It's thrilling to see teen and adult readers enthralled by the same story and engaged in conversation about these books."
