Screenwriter Replaces Craig Kilborn

The L.A. Times reports that Scottish screenwriter and comedian Craig Ferguson, has been picked to replace Craig Kilborn as host of The Late Late Show. Ferguson wrote and starred in the 2000 film Saving Grace, a story about a gardener who goes into business with a bankrupt widow. Ferguson is best known to American audiences as Drew Carey's boss Nigel Wick on The Drew Carey Show. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson debuts in the U.S. on Monday, Jan. 3 (12:35-1:35 a.m.) opposite NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien. No word yet if he will be writing his own jokes.
