Simon & Schuster to Publish Children's Book Series Based on CSI

Posted on March 30, 2012

Simon Spotlight, an imprint of Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing, is going to publish a children's series based on the CBS series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The book series will be named Club CSI. The first two books in the series, by Dave Lewman, will be released in April 2012.

The series features a crew of junior high school investigators inspired by their forensic science class to form a Club CSI to solve crimes and capers at school. The first books, Case of the Mystery Meat Loaf and Case of the Missing Moola, will be released simultaneously in hardcover and paperback. Author Dave Lewman has also penned additional titles for release later in the summer and beyond.

A launch event for the books will be held in April at CSI: The Experience, an exhibition at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The interactive exhibit challenges guests to solve one of three crime scenes using 15 forensic lab stations.
