Simon & Schuster to Publish Woodward's Obama's War on September 27

Posted on September 9, 2010

Simon & Schuster announced that it will publish Bob Woodward's new book, Obama's War, on September 27, 2010. Excerpts from the 441 page book will appear in The Washington Post beginning Monday, September 27.

Simon & Schuster says that Woodward has spent the last 18 months of the book. Simon & Schuster says Woodward has written the "most intimate and sweeping portrait of Obama making the critical decisions on the Afghanistan War, the secret war in Pakistan and the worldwide fight against terrorism. Drawing on internal memos, classified documents, meeting notes and hundreds of hours of interviews with most of the key players, including the president, Woodward offers an original, you-are-there account of Obama and his team in this time of turmoil and uncertainty."

This is Bob Woodward's 16th book, all of which have been published by Simon & Schuster.
