Sir Patrick Stewart Loves the Challenge of Twitter Restrictions

Actor Patrick Stewart says he resisted social media for years. Then his PR people told him he needed to engage with people through social media. Now he loves the medium and he isn't afraid to share. He shared the lobster costume above for Halloween 2013.

Stewart is very popular on social media with nearly 2 million followers on Twitter, @sirpatstew and 150,000 followers on Instagram, @sirpatstew. Stewart says he loves the challenge and restriction of Twitter.

He says, "I write whatever I want to write and then edited it down. And I love that process so much. How can you refine information and make it funny as well in 140 characters?"
