SNL Cold Open: Jay Pharoah and Jason Sudeikis in Obama Versus Romney

Posted on September 16, 2012

Fred Armisen has played President Obama on Saturday Night Live for the past few years. But last night he passed the torch to Jay Pharoah, who did a good job as Obama giving a speech about why he should be elected.

Obama's pitch is that things aren't going great with either the economy or his foreign policy, but he's really not worried because he has a secret weapon: Mitt Romney. Sudeikis does a great Romney impersonation. In a townhall he told the crowd that he knows hardship because one of his horses didn't even medal at the Olympics. He also exclaimed, "Let's face it, no one really wants gay marriage."
