Songwriters Honored at 2011 Hall of Fame Gala

Songwriters were honored at the 2011 Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala. Inductees at the 42nd annual event included John Bettis, Garth Brooks, Leon Russell, Billy Steinberg & Tom Kelly and Allen Toussaint. The Songwriters Hall of Fame says there are fewer than 400 inductees who make up the roster enshrined in the Hall of Fame. Singer/songwriter Garth Brooks says "to be considered a songwriter [in the music industry] is probably the highest honor anyone can bestow on you." Take a look:
