The Hollywood Reporter reports that Sony Pictures Animation has acquired the film rights to Muncle Trogg, a children's book by Janet Foxley.

The children's book is about a tiny (human sized) giant who is laughed at for his small size. He lives with much larger giants inside a volcano. He also attends Mount Grumble School.

Muncle Trogg was the winner of the 2010 Times/Chicken House children's fiction prize. It was also short listed for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize 2012.
