Disney Publishing Announces Zodiac Legacy Novel by Stan Lee

Disney Publishing Worldwide has announced it will publish a novel, Zodiac, based on the Chinese zodiac, by comic book legend Stan Lee. Andie Tong will provide illustrations for the hardcover original, which will go on sale January 27, 2015.

Disney says Lee's new novel follows Steven Lee, a young Chinese-American teen who is drawn into a mysterious conspiracy surrounding twelve mystical pools of energy and a power-hungry secret organization. Lee and other randomly chosen teens around the world are suddenly gifted with magical powers. The teens have to locate each other and learn how to handle their new powers and the new responsibilities that come with them.

Lee said in the announcement, "I'm thrilled to be working with Disney Publishing Worldwide with whom I always hoped to develop this project. Our partnership has been enormously fruitful, collaborative and great fun."
